A New Chapter in Nourishment: The Peaceful Plate Is Coming Soon!
You asked, we listened!
We’re beyond excited to share some delicious (and exciting!) news with you—our brand new cookbook, The Peaceful Plate, will be released soon!
This book has been a labor of love, created with the belief that food is so much more than what’s on your plate. It’s about connection, comfort, and cultivating peace in your daily life. With recipes that are as nourishing for the soul as they are for the body, The Peaceful Plate invites you to slow down, savor, and bring a little more calm into your kitchen.
What You’ll Find Inside
Wholesome, accessible recipes designed to support wellbeing, fun, and connection.
Creative twists on everyday meals that make cooking fun and less stressful.
Peaceful practices and mindful moments sprinkled throughout to help you reconnect with yourself and your loved ones while preparing and sharing meals or other relaxation techniques.
A focus on balance, not perfection, because true wellbeing is about enjoying life—not restricting it.
Trauma-informed approach to the cookbook is what makes this resource unique. We don’t share nutrition information, use language like “good food vs. bad food”, and instead focus on nourishment and fun. This helps keep this resource safe for those with a history of an eating disorder, disordered eating, or a predisposition to either of the two.
Why The Peaceful Plate?
Life can feel busy, rushed, and overwhelming, but food and lifestyle behaviors offer us a daily opportunity to pause. This cookbook is about making that pause intentional—finding grounding in the process of chopping vegetables, joy in experimenting with flavors, and peace in gathering around the table and in life. This cookbook is more than recipes, it is lifestyle strategies and techniques that help encourage mental wellbeing, physical wellbeing, and connection.
Coming Soon!
We can’t wait for you to experience the joy and comfort of The Peaceful Plate. Stay tuned for the official release date, sneak peeks of recipes, and much more.
Your support means the world, and we hope this book becomes a companion in your kitchen—one that inspires you to nourish your body, calm your mind, and feed your soul.
With great appreciation,
Katherine, Quiet Comforts Blog
